Indications for the use of syrup: bronchial diseases with a thick, excessively sticky secretion, chronic bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, atelectasis as a result of bronchial obstruction by the mucus, post-operative pulmonary complications.
Composition:
(5ml of syrup):
Active substance: 4mg bromohexine hydrochloride;
Excipients:
glucose monohydrate, propyl hydroxybenzoate, ethanol 96%, menthol, liquid eucalyptus-peppermint aroma, patent blue, turmeric, hydrochloric acid, purified water.
Action:
Synthetic derivative of vasocin alkaloid with strong mucolytic and expectorant activity. Thaws the thick discharge in the bronchi by depolymerizing acidic polysaccharides. At the same time, it stimulates mucous glands to produce less viscous mucus. Facilitates ciliary transport of secretion in the bronchi. Administered orally – is well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. T0.5 is 12 hours. Excreted by the kidneys, mainly in the form of metabolites. It passes through the blood-placenta barrier and into breast milk.
Indications:
Bronchial diseases with dense, excessively sticky secretion, chronic bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, atelectasis as a result of bronchoconstriction by mucus, pulmonary complications after surgery and in the course of anesthesia, after diagnostic procedures on the bronchial tree.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the drug. Caution in diseases with hyperresponsiveness of the bronchi, peptic ulcer disease. Do not use the drug in the first trimester of pregnancy.
Dosage:
Adults and children over 10 years of age 3 times a day 1 tablespoon
